Filmmaking shaped by beauty, truth, and the rhythm of the Church.
Crafting Catholic films that reveal meaning and elevate the sacred
For more than a decade, I’ve dedicated my life to creating films rooted in faith, beauty, and deeply human storytelling. My work in Catholic film production spans documentaries, narrative sequences, interviews, reflective films, parish stories, mission-driven short pieces, and long-form cinematic projects filmed across the world.
At the heart of it all is a conviction that Catholic films should be beautiful, honest, and crafted with excellence - the kind of work that lifts hearts, deepens understanding, and draws people toward the mystery of God.
A filmmaker formed by story, travel, and mission
My journey into film began young—long before I understood what directing or cinematography even meant. Filming retreats and parish life, I learned early that the Church is full of stories waiting for someone to notice. That quiet discovery became the foundation on which my vocation as a Catholic filmmaker was built.
Since then, I’ve spent years directing crews, shaping stories, traveling from sacred sites to rugged landscapes, and capturing moments of grace with a camera in hand.
My film approach is defined by:
Intentional, cinematic imagery shaped by years behind the lens
Documentary sensibilities that honor real people and real moments
Narrative clarity that makes Catholic messages accessible and impactful
A contemplative eye influenced by analog tools and slow, careful storytelling
Pastoral sensitivity when working with clergy, religious, and lay communities
My filmmaking has taken me through deserts, mountains, monasteries, cathedrals, mission fields, and homes where everyday holiness quietly unfolds.
What I bring to Catholic films
1. Direction with Purpose
Guiding talent, shaping scenes, and telling stories with clarity and reverence—whether filming interviews, narrative elements, or documentary sequences.
2. Cinematography Grounded in Beauty
A visual style built on composition, natural light, intentional movement, and a deep respect for the sacred spaces I film in.
3. Documentary and Long-Form Experience
Years of filming pilgrimages, journeys, international projects, and faith-filled human stories with a grounded, empathetic approach.
4. Visual Story Architecture
Building films that understand pacing, emotional rhythm, and the power of silence just as much as dialogue.
5. Thoughtful Post-Production
Editing, sound design, and color that enhance emotion, illuminate the narrative, and create films that linger long after viewing.
Why Catholic film matters
Film is one of the most powerful forms of evangelization in the modern world—a medium capable of reaching hearts across distances, cultures, and generations.
Catholic film deserves a filmmaker who understands:
The gravity and beauty of the sacraments
The reverence of liturgy
The rhythm of prayer and silence
The depth of Catholic symbolism and ritual
The pastoral dimension of telling someone’s story
The responsibility of portraying the Church with accuracy and honor
My aim is to make Catholic films that feel timeless, sincere, and anchored in the richness of the faith.
A body of work shaped by place and purpose
My films have taken me from small Midwestern parishes to the Holy Land, from mountain ranges to mission houses, from quiet homes to bustling festivals, from contemplative monastic life to large-scale Catholic events.
Every film - no matter its scope - begins with the same goal: to create something meaningful, something beautiful, something that honors the story entrusted to me.
Let’s tell a powerful Catholic story
If you’re looking for a Catholic filmmaker or creative partner who understands both the craft and the heart of the Church, I’d love to connect. My film work is built on years of experience, a love for beauty, and a desire to reveal the presence of God through moving images.
